Cara Turton-Chambers

Environment and Engagement Officer
Nottinghamshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust

Cara has worked in the Energy and Environment Department at Nottinghamshire Healthcare since 2018 after completing her masters in Environmental Management. She is currently acting into the position of Environmental Manager and leads on waste compliance and reduction, biodiversity and staff engagement at the Trust. One part of her job Cara loves is that no two days are the same. Her work has involved supporting the COVID vaccination programme with waste provision, running the Trust’s sustainability behaviour change scheme Green Impact, supporting tree planting projects and working on a carbon footprint calculator for Nottinghamshire Healthcare.

Outside of work she can often be found walking around her home in Derbyshire or working with Derbyshire Wildlife Trust in her position as Trustee.
